The Literature Review Process
In essence, a literature review summarizes and synthesizes the arguments and ideas of others. To do this, you must:
Choose a narrow topic.
Recognize themes within your reading to focus your examination
Construct a thesis statement. Ex: Today's beverage options diminish the importance of proper hydration to the human body.
Choose an organization method.
